BACKPLANE Systems Technology will be exhibiting the Cool Beauty, a VIA Eden ESP6000 667MHz Fanless Micro PC, at National Manufacturing Week 2004.
This compact PC is a mere 220mm x 65mm x 147mm in size and features two COM ports, two USB 1.1 ports and a DB-25 parallel port located on the rear panel.
The PC features a VIA TwisterT VT8606 chipset with integrated S3 Savage4 2D/3D graphics accelerator and 32MB display memory. The Cool Beauty features one 144-pin SODIMM socket supporting up to 512MB SDRAM.
AC97 audio with Line In, Line Out and Mic In ports are located of the back panel as well as a CompactFlash Type I/II socket with card ejector. Dual Realtek 8139C or optional Intel 82559/82559ER 10/100Base-TX Ethernet controllers are also fitted.
The power supply unit has a 90~264V ac / 47~63Hz input and +5V dc @ 5A output.
The Cool Beauty features a lightweight design and weighs only 1.7kgs, making the PC an ideal solution for mobile applications as well as IT and internet appliances.
