The VBOX-3100 from Backplane Systems Technology is a mobile digital video recorder which can be connected simultaneously to IP and up to 8 x analog cameras; a feature which greatly increases integration flexibility. Powered by Intel Hyper-Threading Technology, the VBOX-3100 not only incorporates DVR capability within one system but also provides intelligent video analytics feature, such as the automatic license plate Recognition (ALPR) functionality.

The VBOX-3100 Mobile DVR System is equipped with an Intel D525 1.8GHz dual core processor, has DDR3 capabilities up to 4GB. This in-vehicle video recorder provides high quality digital recording on 4-8 channel D1, in 120/240fps resolution, with real-time display (NTSC 720X480, PAL 720/576).

The VBOX-3100 features 2 x Realtek RTL8111C Gigabit LAN ports with WOL, PXE support, 2 x RS-232/422/485 COM ports, 4 x USB2.0, 1 x VGA port, 1 x GPIO port (4 x DI and 2 x DO with 12V/80mA), and 1 x audio jack (Line out). Equipped with a SIM card slot and 3 x Mini-PCIe sockets, the VBOX-3100 supports 3G network, Wi-Fi 802.11n a/b/g or access point mode, GPS positioning and bluetooth.
