Backplane Systems Technology has announced the release of iBase's CMI200-952F scalable digital signage player. This system comes with a built-in AMD 780E-based MI952 motherboard and offers superb performance, stability and excellent power efficiency.
The compact (280x 18 x 50mm) CMI200-952F digital signage player features the ATI Radeon HD 3200 graphics with ATI Avivo HD technology and 128MB DDR3 sideport memory, which provides excellent graphics performance to present a dynamic visual experience to viewers.
The scalable digital signage player supports dual independent displays with a combination of HDMI with DVI-I and dual DVI-D interfaces.
Compatibility with a range of AMD embedded processors, including the low power AMD Athlon X2 dual-core and AMD Athlon X4 quad-core processors as well as the very low power AMD Athlon single-core processor enables the CMI200-952F to support a wide range of performance requirements.
The CMI200-952F features PWM fan control for quiet operation. It is manufactured with low power components, which help reduce energy consumption and enhance overall system reliability.
Other features of these scalable digital signage players include 2x DDR2 sockets for up to 4GB system memory, 2x Gigabit LAN, 6x USB 2.0 ports, 1x serial port, 1x 2.5" SATA HDD drive bay and an optional wall-mount kit.
