Now available from BOC , the new Linde G-TECTA range of portable gas detection instruments offers total protection and service to workers throughout Australia and New Zealand.

The Linde G-TECTA range includes multiple or single gas detection instruments that are used to monitor an environment for dangerous gases and oxygen.

G-TECTA multi-gas portable gas detectors can monitor carbon dioxide, oxygen, ozone gases, hydrogen sulphide, and methane.

These portable gas detectors alert the user both visually and aurally when the monitored gas is detected. Ergonomically designed with an upward facing display, G-TECTA gas detectors allow the user to easily view the readings.

“G-TECTA is a highly professional range of gas detecting equipment. The knowledge and expertise of Linde, as a global leader in the gas industry assures the highest quality and standard when it comes to safety,” said Joe Martinez, Senior Product Manager of Safety at BOC.

The G-TECTA portable gas detection range has been designed for ease of use and the one button operation is already proving to be a simple solution for field engineers and workers.

The device’s bright red appearance has reflective labels for high visibility to ensure optimal safety and compliance when on site.

All G-TECTA products can be connected to a PC or docking station, allowing users to manage settings and record data downloads.

“Data management of gas detection instruments is an essential tool in the workplace as it provides data for accountability purposes and can help establish the source of any current or futures risks on site,” says Martinez.

The G-TECTA 4G is one product in the range of portable gas detection devices that features a 95dB audible alarm, making it suitable for industrial environments. Created with safety in mind the G-TECTA 4G features an automatic backlight that activates with the alarm, and coloured visual alarms to aid recognition and visibility.
