Officially opened on March 1 early this year, Beckhoff Hungary is headed by Managing Director Tamás Perecz, an experienced industrial and electrical engineer with exceptional knowledge of the Hungarian automation market.
Earlier represented in Hungary by Controrg Kft, Beckhoff decided to establish its own subsidiary in Hungary to work more intensively within the Eastern European market, according to Jens-Olaf Brede, Area Sales Manager at Beckhoff.
Several major German and international companies operate manufacturing facilities in Hungary, creating key opportunities for Beckhoff. The company intends to expand into new business areas such as building automation to win new customers while the primary objective is to penetrate the market with PC-based control technology.
