KL2761 dimmer bus terminal
KL2761 dimmer bus terminal with a rated output of up to 600 W from Beckhoff Automation is intended for direct connection of different lighting devices, such as incandescent lamps as well as inductive and electronic ballasts.
The lighting devices are detected and controlled in the correct operating mode. Integrated diagnostics indicate the operating status by means of LEDs and make the status data available via fieldbus systems.
The electronic dimmer is extremely compact and is equipped with automatic load detection.
The KL2761 extends the range of 230 V universal dimmers for the Beckhoff Bus Terminal system by providing a variant with an output of 600 W and integrated diagnostics. It is primarily intended for use in building services and can switch numerous lighting devices with a wearfree design.
The brightness values of the lighting system can be modified via the controller process data based on any supported bus system. The operating states are evaluated by the integrated diagnostics, indicated by LEDs and made available to additional applications via the bus system.
As a standard feature, the dimmer terminal automatically detects the type of load and calculates the correct phase control angle. Load detection occurs once after start-up. The result is stored in the Bus Terminal. The dimmer terminal is short-circuit-proof and limits the current in the event of a short circuit.
