LOCK Inspection Systems, represented in Australia through Autopac Systems , launched a new detector range at the recent Interpack 2002 Exhibition.
The MET 30+ detector range is recognised worldwide for its reliability, performance and sensitivity and ease of integration with processing and packaging equipment.
The new detector range, targeted at the food industry, is called the MET 30+3f. The 3f electronics incorporates three selectable crystal-tuned frequencies and can be specified for all Lock 'horizontal' detector heads and across all Lock IP ratings.
The three frequencies built into each 3f head are 30kHz, 100kHz and 286kHz, and the electronics and software are capable, at set-up, of automatically selecting the optimum frequency for each application.
The enhancement option is a touchscreen display which can be specified for all MET 30+3f detectors, single or triple frequency. The touchscreen display uses a bright sunlight readable electroluminescent (EL) screen with the same user-friendly software system that the current model uses.
The series of screens provides operational and maintenance staff with a powerful on-screen diagnostic for product set-up to optimise metal detector performance.
Lock's unique ADC graphic technology (previously only accessible via lap-top/PC plugged into the head) is now available on the touchscreen display.
ADC acts as 'a window to the detection envelope', providing ease of access to identify and resolve problem areas easily.
The Lock Met30+3f with touchscreen display offers the food industry the ultimate product protection system with automatic frequency selection and product set-up via the on screen ADC software graphic display.
