Autopac Systems design and manufacture in Australia a range of automatic x-ray inspection systems for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries to inspect product and automatically identify metal and non-metal contaminants, mass variations (checkweighing), missing or broken product, shape confirmation, packing voids and confirming fill levels.

To accommodate the growing interest in the Autopac X-ray in Australia and overseas, Autopac Systems have released yet another model. The new G-40 Autopac X-ray is a mid to large inspection system used to detect foreign bodies and missing product within cartons of food. The G-40 has an inspection opening of 610mm wide and 320mm high.

The G-40 also has the all of the standard features of the Autopac X-ray range:

User-friendly operator control interface: With large 15” colour touch screen display providing a visual reference, using real-time images and diagnostics data. The full colour display accesses the industry standard Windows XP interface.

Advanced detector design for speed and sensitivity: Inspection of the product is achieved by low energy generators, advanced linear array detector technology and a high performance computer image analysis system, making Autopac inspection systems superior at detecting small statistical variations in the product that signal product contamination or deviation from accepted specifications.

High speed mass control (check weighing): The mass control algorithm provides a highest accuracy of the mass of the product (independently of the package) at high production speeds. The system is self-calibrating for exceptional stability. Selective areas within the package can be independently inspected.

Reject image storage: Memory storage for over 50,000 reject images, that can be reviewed when system is operating and downloaded via the external USB connection or optional networking systems.

Interface configurations: Connectors for USB and optional network interfaces are conveniently located for easy access, enabling interconnection of memory devices, external instruments, etc.

Designed for food industry standards: The autopac x-ray inspection systems are designed for washdown environments and are manufactured to comply with the Australian NHMRC (National Health and Medical Research Council) requirements regarding Cabinet X-ray Equipment.

Manufactured in Australia, the Autopac X-ray inspection system can be customised to be slotted into existing food manufacturing and packaging lines. Autopac can also provide multi-lane inspection systems with individual lanes having separate reject mechanisms in the one machine.
