Automation Systems & Controls has available a powerful inspection tool, the DVT Legend LS (Line Scan) vision system. The DVT Legend LS camera gives customers a much broader range of inspection capabilities.
The DVT Line Scan Legend LS incorporates a Texas Instruments DSP processor and features a 2K linear sensor yielding images up to 18,000 lines per second.
The DVT Line Scan, which will use DVT’s software, Intellect can unwrap cylindrical objects for label inspection and can scan an object to obtain a high resolution image. Using an encoder feature in Intellect, the DVT Line Scan provides consistent sampling for a number of applications.
In some cases, it is suitable for applications that formerly required a cluster of high-resolution cameras.
