Automation Sales will be holding a Siemens training course on SIMATIC S7 programming and troubleshooting from 21-24 September, 2010 in Windsor, Queensland.
Being held at the Windsor International Motel, the four day training course is ideal for engineers, technicians and electricians who want to become more proficient with Siemens Simatic systems.
The S7-PROG1 training course will cover the SIMATIC S7-300 and S7-400 range of hardware and STEP-7 engineering software and is certified by Siemens, Germany.
The Simatic systems training course will begin with basic program structure and emphasis will be given to practical exercises covering digital and analog programming, troubleshooting
The course is compliant with IEC 61131 and will include overviews of Profibus and MPI.
An S7 System Overview and installation of S7 software will be covered, as will the basic principles of S7 software. The course will cover S7 software tools for testing, error detection and troubleshooting, as well as program archiving and memory card operations.
On completion of the course participant will be able to:
- identify and configure the hardware components and performance characteristics of SIMATIC S7
- make use of the various types of addressing and understand program structure
- create, document and test simple program structure
- understand the nature of minor program modifications to identify and overcome operational problems and conduct monitoring and test functions.
