Visitors can join Autodesk Solution Day 2009, where Autodesk Australia will be showcasing the latest in design innovation technologies. The design, architectural, engineering, utilities and manufacturing industries in Australia are impacted by a range of global political, economic and environmental change issues.
Keynote speakers from the Federal and State government, Engineers Australia and Autodesk will address topics such as innovation, skills training, design productivity, sustainability and competitiveness in the current climate. Autodesk will showcase new Autodesk 2010 products, with detailed demonstrations in specific industry breakouts.
The 2D and 3D CAD products on display will be AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor software and Revit software, which allow users to visualise, simulate and analyse projects before anything is made or built. High profile customer speakers will demonstrate these advanced design solutions and how they can increase productivity and reduce costs in a tough environment.
There will also be a room at the Powerhouse Museum set aside for media attendees on the day, with coffee, tea, lunch and refreshments provided, plus a wireless broadband connection for laptops. One-on-one interviews with speakers will be available in the afternoon.
