Autodesk Australia launches their new range of AutoCAD products for Mac OS X Lion, which will be available for Australia and New Zealand in August 2011. For the first time, AutoCAD WS will be compatible for MAC software. Autodesk are also releasing the AutoCAD for Mac 2012, for students and educators.
The expansion of AutoCAD products for Mac has provided more options for users of the 3D CAD software. AutoCAD for Mac 2012 are suited for designers, architects and engineers who prefer to work in a native Mac environment and need to create, edit or review conceptual designs, 3D models, technical drawings and documentation.
AutoCAD WS for Mac allows users to view and collaborate on DWG files, through the Mac interface, and can plot DWG files to PDF or DWF formats. The AutoCAD WS for Mac, also allows users to syng with their cloud-based AutoCAD WS accounts to help make file accessibility easier from their AutoCAD WAS mobile application.

The AutoCAD for Mac 2012 3D CAD solutions are available for free at the AutoDesk Education Community. The AutoCAD WS software are available exclusively from the Mac App Store.
