MBD-99 desiccant bags are exclusive to Australian Warehouse Solutions (AWS) and are ideally suited for use in ocean, truck and rail shipping containers, to protect export products from damage.
One of the primary causes of product damage throughout transit is container rain and cargo sweat, which can cause rust in metal items and softness or mould in cardboard packaging. MBD-99 desiccant bags guarantee eradication of the destructive effects of container rain and cargo sweat.
AWS MBD-99 desiccant provides more than 60 days of moisture protection and is guaranteed to absorb up to 65% of its own weight in moisture. Just 8 x 130 unit bags of MBD-99 desiccant are required in an ordinary 20ft container to absorb over 10 litres of water or condensation.
MBD-99 desiccant bags offer great absorption and are now available with extra strong Tyvek bags which are resistant to water, chemicals, abrasion and ageing. AWS MBD-99 desiccant is also made from naturally occurring volcanic clay that is mined in Australia, so it is completely environmentally friendly and non hazardous.
MBD-99 desiccant bags are available from Australian Warehouse Solutions in a range of sizes to suit numerous applications.
