KeyPro Plus available through Australian Security Technology is a newly released software system that enables KeyWatcher key safe management users to not only use biometric and other high-end access solutions, but to also interact with high-end security and building management systems.
Developed and designed in Australia by Argast Pty Ltd, KeyPro Plus (KPP) now enables a KeyWatcher management system to work over multiple KeyWatcher installations. This is done without setting up a new system, by overlaying the new system on existing architecture seamlessly.
Australian Security Technology Managing Director, Jason Leach explains that the user can configure, run scheduled reporting, and assign access permissions by group, role, location, and individual KeyWatcher units for an entire organisation from one central location. This covers key management across multiple sites for local and mobile uses as well as access of user information, transaction history, alarms and status of each KeyWatcher on the network.
KPP will integrate and work with advanced card access systems from Cardax (version 7), and biometric-based systems from Biometric Innovations and is certified by Lenel to work with their systems (versions 6.4 and 6.5).
The integration of KeyWatcher to an existing security network allows all events highlighted by KeyWatcher to appear on monitors already run by installed systems, saving the user the hassle and cost of installing an additional monitoring system.
Leach added that there was no need for users to re-train or re-familiarise themselves with a separate system. On integration of multiple sites, KeyPro Plus allows an administrator to demote, promote, retire and commission KeyWatchers across multiple locations and geographies remotely, eliminating the need to visit and configure each individual key safe.
Additionally, KeyWatcher manufacturer Morse Watchmans fully supports and endorses KeyPro Plus for use with their systems.
