Australian Pump Industries have released a new Yanmar powered, high pressure diaphragm pump. The trolley mounted machine is designed specifically for high pressure wash down applications. It produces flows of up to 85 litres per minute and pressures of up to 20 bar.
The heart of the Zeta 85-L48 machine is an Udor triplex style diaphragm pump with plasticised aluminium heads for corrosion resistance, and glass filled nylon manifolds. The pump comes with a close coupled control unit that enables the operator to vary the pressure range.
The pump runs at 540 rpm and is driven by a heavy duty 6:1 ratio cast iron reduction gear from a Yanmar L48 4.8HP industrial diesel engine.
According to Aussie Pumps Product Manager, Tony Kelly, the Zeta 85- L48 is a multipurpose machine that can be used on construction sites for everything from wash down of machinery to hydrostatic testing. The Zeta 85-L48 pump is suitable for big equipment such as combines, cotton pickers, excavators or crawler shovels.
The combination of high volume and 20 bar pressure provides a ‘wash and flush’ effect that cleans the mud off the plant quickly.
