Australian Pump Industries has introduced new cost efficient 6 inch self priming centrifugal pump. The Aussie Quik Prime model QP602 has been designed to move huge quantities of water and is perfect for high volume transfer and flood irrigation applications.

The new water pumps have water transferring capabilities of up to 174,000 litres per hour, which makes the pumps ideal for flood irrigation where the ability to move large amounts of water is essential.

The 6 inch water pumps have a maximum vertical discharge of 32 metres, and are suitable for moving water from a lower dam or river to the flood site.

The QP602 water pump is designed to minimise water loss, with runoff captured in ponds that can then be easily pumped back into the system.

The pumps incorporate a large open style, high grade cast iron impeller, which helps to pass small solids in suspension. They are capable of drafting water from depths of up to 7.6 metres which also makes them suited to pumping from dams, rivers and tanks.

To reach full capacity the Aussie water pumps are powered by a 13HP Honda petrol engine as standard. The pump is also available with a Yanmar air cooled diesel engine.

Other features of the QP602 water pumps include:

  • frame with heavy duty wrap for protection,
  • marine grade aluminium pump housing,
  • eye bolt,
  • carbon ceramic mechanical seal,
  • four mounted handles for easy lifting,
  • great fuel efficiencies,
  • high volume transfer,
  • heavy duty construction,
  • 5 year warranty,
  • pump end warranty, and
  • 3 year Honda or 2 year Yanmar engine guarantees.
