Australian Pump Industries  offer the new Aussie Fire Captain Plus, developed from Aussie Fire Chief. The Fire Captain now comes with larger Honda 6.5 HP air cooled industrial engine, and heavy duty welded steel full anti roll frame.

The new Fire Captain Plus, code model QP205SL/GX200FF, is part of the Fire Chief Plus range of Aussie fire fighting pumps. It features a massive flow of 510 litres per minute, but also offers fire fighters heads as high as 75 metres that is over 100 psi.

Part of Australian Pump’s Quik Prime range, the ‘Captain’ primes fast from depths as low as 7.6 metres. That means it has the capability to draught its own water from creeks, streams or wells, utilising that big 7.6 metre vertical suction lift.

It achieves high performance through a balanced single piece closed style impeller that is 7 inches in diameter. The big impeller is the major part of the system, and is the secret of the pump’s incredible performance. The big bellied body, assists in the fast self priming, and provides the pump with the ability to produce more water at higher pressure.

Other features of Aussie Fire Captain include a replaceable front suction port, with 2” inlet, that provides more volume of liquid through the pump, and makes check valve service easy. A fire pump 3 way outlet is standard, enabling the Captain to run two 1 inch hoses at once, or one single 1½ inch hose to literally ‘drown’ fires before they get really started.

The Fire Captain is built in strict accordance with ISO quality standards. Australian Pump Industries hold ISO 9001 quality accreditation. The Aussie Fire Captain is available from Aussie Gold Distributors throughout all major centres.
