Australian Pump Industries is working overtime to meet the extra demand for their high pressure water blasters for use in Queensland’s flood clean-up work.
Queensland’s devastating floods have triggered an emergency response from Australian Pump Industries with the leading pressure cleaner manufacturer going into high gear to meet the increased demand for their water blasters.
Aussie Operations Manager John Hales says that they have doubled production to meet the extreme emergency requirements.
Australian Pump is the country’s leading manufacturer of professional high pressure water blasters. Their products are used by major hire companies, construction companies, big miners as well as Government and local government bodies.
Hales adds that they went into a crash program to build Aussie Ultra and Predator, their 4,000 and 5,000 psi pressure cleaning machines, knowing that there would be a requirement for hydro blasters with real grunt.
The company claims that their hydro-blaster range provides the flow and pressure to move mud, silt and debris from machinery, buildings and key public utility assets.
The blasters use ‘Big Berty’ Bertolini high pressure piston pumps that develop 4,000 and 5,000 psi pump pressures. When used in combination with an Aussie Turbo, performance is boosted to up to 8,500 psi effective working pressure.
Bertolini pumps and engines come with a unique 3 + 3-year warranty.
Key features of high pressure water blasters from Aussie Pumps:
- Heavy duty galvanised frames for protection and manoeuvrability
- Trolley is fitted with big 13-inch steel wheels and pneumatic tyres
- ‘Hi-low’ stainless steel double lance enables the operator to move from low pressure detergent application to high pressure with a simple twist of the wrist
- Heavy duty 5,000 psi rated professional gun and 10 metres of double wire braid
- Aussie high pressure hose with quick screw coupling to pump
Accessory options available with the Aussie high pressure cleaners for easy flood/mud clean-up include turbo attachments to get the mud off faster, telescopic Extenda wands with up to 6m of reach as well as hose reels with extended length hoses to enable cleaning even in tight and hard-to-access locations.
Hales comments that Aussie machines are built tough for graffiti removal, brick or drain cleaning, and designed to cut cleaning time, save water as well as get the job done faster.
He adds that they are sending more drain cleaning jetters to unclog Brisbane’s sewer lines and stormwater drains.
