A new 2" heavy duty trash pump has been released by Australian Pump Industries .
Powered by a Hatz air cooled diesel engine, the pump offers real solids handling capacity making it ideal for construction site dewatering applications.
Part of the Aussie Quik Prime range, the new model is called the QP201TD. It is designed to self prime and will draft water, even with the highest percentage of solids in suspension. The 2" pump produces flows of up to 600 lpm and has a maximum pumping head of 24m. The head is the term used to describe vertical lift.
Aussie Quik Prime pumps prime fast with the ability to draft water from 7.6m in a matter of minutes. The machine handles gritty or dirty water with ease. It will handle up to 1" spherical solids through its large open style non clog impeller.
The machine features a cast iron volute and impeller and a unique copper bronze seal that outlasts others by up to six times.
An advanced double volute for fast priming, efficiency and self cleaning is standard equipment.
Like all Aussie Quik Prime trash pumps the machine has a huge front mounted suction cover that can be removed in a matter of seconds. The suction cover pulls out, bringing with it the volute enabling the entire impeller chamber to be cleaned in a matter of minutes.
A heavy duty steel roll frame, couplings and strainer are standard equipment.
Although the machine is high performance and features Hatz diesel engine fuel economy it is relatively lightweight and can be easily managed on site.
