RELEASED by Australian Pump Industries , the Aussie AB40 heavy duty blaster uses 25 per cent less water than conventional equivalent machines, whilst at the same time cutting cleaning times dramatically because of its higher pressure capability.
The heart of the system is the AB40s "Big Berty" Bertolini pump producing 4000psi pressure at the pump and an amazing 6400psi EWP (effective working pressure) through the Aussie Turbo Master turbo nozzle.
The machine is powered by a heavy duty Honda GX390 13HP industrial petrol engine and comes complete in a full trolley mounted roll frame for operator and machine protection on site.
"The new machine is a revolution in terms of Australian built economy pressure cleaners" Aussie Pumps product manager Hamish Lorenz said.
"By producing more pressure with the same HP as conventional 3000psi machines, we can get the job done quicker saving time, water and of course machine wear and tear," he said.
The AB40 comes equipped with the latest in high pressure accessories including a 4000psi rated gun complete with extension lance and quick coupler and 10 metres of super high pressure hose.
A heavy duty stainless steel double lance and "laser tip" nozzles, for clean cutting accurate water blasting, are also supplied as standard.
The new 4000psi Big Berty pump is one of the new Cool Run series with a number of advanced features which include a multi-fin crank case, bottom seal valve caps, and forged bronze one piece conrods.
The pump is protected from excessive by-pass running by a thermal dump protector valve built into the high pressure circuit. The valve is preset and activates when the pump water temperature reaches a preset level.
A safety valve to protect the pump and operator from excessive pressure spikes is also standard equipment.
