AUSTRALIAN Pump Industries has released a new heavy duty 3,000psi pressure cleaner with integrated diesel engine drive.

Called the Aussie BB350YD, the heavy duty machine is powered by a Yanmar 10hp air cooled industrial diesel engine.

Designed specifically for contractors, local government and mine and quarry operators, the machine offers dimensions of reliability and fuel economy not found in conventional petrol drive heavy duty Aussie cleaners.

According to Australian Pump Industries, there are major advantages of diesel drive compared to petrol engines in terms of engine longevity, reliability and intrinsic safety.

The big machine features a severe service ‘Big Berty’ Bertolini triplex pump, running at 1450rpm and driven through a robust gearbox from the main diesel engine drive.

The pump features a large capacity crankcase, unique ‘U’ type double seals for long trouble free operation and new bottom sealed valve caps that provide better sealing and easier maintenance.

The whole machine comes mounted in a heavy duty galvanised steel trolley with roll cage style protection and four large pneumatic tyres for ease of movement.

The trolley features a handy hose rack and is also designed for the easy attachment of Aussie Reel Quik hose reels to allow operators the facility to use up to 60m of hose with the machine.

The diesel blaster comes with a stainless steel double lance with both high and low pressure capability.

The machine also features detergent injection to enable the easy application of cleaning aids.

Like all big Australian Pump machines, the BB350YD has ASP (Aussie Safety Protection) that includes a thermal dump valve to prevent the machine from over-heating if left on by-pass and a safety valve that protects both the operator and the machine from pressure spikes.

A big Aussie Turbo Master turbo lance is available as an optional extra. The Turbo Master allows the machine to operate with an EWP of 4,785psi.

Long length lances including telescopics, sand blast kits, drain cleaner attachments and a wide range of flat surface cleaning tools are also available to suit the new diesel powered machine.

The Yanmar 10hp engine is electric start with additional recoil start facilities. An added bonus is the availability of a automatic shut down system for use in hazardous locations, for example, oil refineries, oil platforms or fuel depots.
