AUSTRALIAN Pump Industries has released a unique new high pressure diaphragm pump capable of handling chlorine solutions.
Manufactured by Udor, the world's leader in the design of high pressure diaphragm pumps, the new model offers contractors flows of up to 40L per minute and pressures to 20 bar.
Called the Zeta 40 Series, the new pumps have polypropylene and stainless steel liquid handling components. This construction provides the ability to handle many aggressive liquids and, to apply them at high pressure.
The Zeta 40 comes standard close coupled to a Honda GX160 5.5hp engine and is supplied in a handy steel carry frame. It can be supplied with hose reels, high pressure hose and guns designed for handling aggressive liquids for ease of application.
The pump comes with a large capacity oil bath crankcase with drain plugs for ease of maintenance. Like all Udor diaphragm pumps it has excellent self priming characteristics and can be run dry.
Other features of the new pump include a visual oil sight gauge and stainless steel check valves as standard equipment.
The Zeta 40 is a triplex 3 diaphragm poly pump design that comes with its own control unit. The control unit consists of an adjustable pressure regulator, a manual dump lever and dual ball valve outlets. A pressure gauge is also included as part of the kit.
"We expect people in the construction and property maintenance industry to be particularly interested in this new machine," said Aussie Pumps' Fred Fouracre. "That's why we are offering it with its own integrated drive system."
The pump has a universal drive plate that can easily be adapted for 540rpm tractor PTO drive or for electric motor pulley drive applications.
