INTEGRATING a 5000psi capacity high pressure hose reel, with the ability to take up to 100 metres of hose, into an industrial water blaster is a big breakthrough in operator convenience and efficiency.
The designers of the machine, Australian Pump Industries , claim the extra hose also provides major OH&S benefits as well as making big plant wash down significantly faster.
The Aussie Reel Quik heavy duty hose reel features a stainless steel swivel and is incorporated within the frame of the big high pressure water blaster.
"Providing the operator with up to 100 metres of high pressure hose means that big plant can be cleaned without the inconvenience of having to move the water blaster progressively during the job," said Aussie Pump Product Manager, Hamish Lorenz.
"Hose life is extended as the reel provides safe, efficient storage of long length high pressure hose assemblies," he said.
The machine, called the Aussie Predator, features a "Big Berty" Bertolini pump producing 5000psi pump pressure. It is powered by a Hatz air-cooled diesel engine and comes in a full galvanised steel trolley with built in centre lifting bar.
The pump is capable of flows of up to 21 litres a minute and is designed for continuous service even in the most arduous industrial applications.
Australian Pump claims there are substantial OH&S benefits in having a high quality integrated reel built in to big industrial cleaners. The hose reel means long length hose can be stored properly when not in use thus eliminating a potential major obstacle and reducing accidents on site. Hose abrasion is also minimised.
