A new “blast and flush” wash down gun for high pressure water blasters has been released by Australian Pump Industries.
Designed for applications involving the cleaning of large items of plant, the gun is claimed to cut cleaning times and dramatically reduce water usage.
Called the Aussie Wash Gun, the unit is fitted with unique “Tommy Gun” style front mounted handle that activates a valve that allows the operator the facility to vary the flow angle, from wide angle jet to pin point accuracy by simply activating the handle.
This facilitates the fast and efficient wash down of plant and gives the operator a new dimension of flexibility.
The wash down gun trigger mechanism is an Aussie Arrowline AL5, rated to 4000 PSI with a maximum temperature range of up to 150 degrees C. The lance arrangement, 600 mm long, is fitted with an unique ceramic nozzle insert that is wear resistant and is claimed to outlast stainless steel nozzles by up to 4 times.
The lance is stainless steel and rated to operate at up to 60 bar with a maximum flow of 40 litres per minute. Optional nozzle sizes permit larger flows when required.
The new Aussie wash down gun offers users accurate nebulisation, long throw, high flows and seriously robust design. The spray tip is shock protected by a heavy duty bumper.
“The Wash Gun is ideal for use with our Aussie Muck Off, wash and flush machines, but will of course operate with high pressure water blasters of all makes with suitable flow and pressure capabilities” said Aussie Pumps John Hales.
