The Aussie Fire Chief fire pump, available from Australian Pump Industries, is a robust, high performance engine drive self priming fire pump that is an alternative to single and twin impeller pumps. These fire pumps have a 500 litre per minute maximum flow and offer a maximum delivery head of 75 metres. The Aussie Fire Chief fire pump primes fast and has a suction lift of 7.6 metres.
The Aussie Fire Chief fire pump has been chosen by the NSW Rural Fire Service, the Fire Brigade and government instrumentalities. According to Australian Pump Industries, the fire pump offers a bellied body design, allows more water through the pump, providing pressure to flow characteristics.
The Aussie Fire Chief fire pump has a seven inch (17cm) one piece closed impeller that is balanced for maximum performance and a heavy duty volute that produces better hydraulic results. A two inch suction flange in the fire pump is easily removable for check valve service. These fire pumps feature heavy duty steel skids with anti vibration mounts and a carry handle.
