A cast iron 4” self-priming centrifugal industrial motor pump has been released by Australian Pump Industries .
The new pump features both high flow and high head characteristics making it suitable for a wide range of industrial pumping applications.
Called the Aussie GMP B4XRA, the big 4” pump offers flows of up to 2,500 litres per minute and heads of up to 28 metres.
The Aussie GMP B4XRA self priming design allows the pump to draught water from effluent pits or sumps with a direct vertical lift of 6 metres.
The Aussie GMP B4XRA comes configured as a close couple motor pump, powered by a 15 hp, (11 kW) 2 pole squirrel cage style electric motor.
“The design’s beauty is its flexibility,” said Aussie Pumps Product Manager, John Whiteley. “Adding larger electric motors, up to 30 hp, and varying the impeller design, gives us a wide range of performance characteristics with either larger flows, or higher heads,” he said.
The Aussie GMP B4XRA is also available in cast zinc free bronze, for marine or salt water applications or, in cast 316 grade stainless steel for chemical process pumping.
The new Aussie 4” pump comes on a heavy duty steel base plate, making it easy to install.
All Aussie GMP pumps are built to ISO 9001 quality and a risk assessment is carried out in compliance with Australian OH & S standards.
