Australian Pump Industries , also known as Aussie Pumps, is getting ready for this season’s field days and country shows.
Heavy duty industrial products like the Aussie 2” trash pump, covered by big heavy duty contractor style pressure cleaners will be on display as well as the full line up of fire pumps, pressure systems and irrigation pumps.
“Farmers don’t often see products that are designed for industrial applications,” said Aussie Pump’s Tony Kelly.
“This year we intend to show farmers products that we’ve developed for the mining and construction markets as we believe they have real application in some areas of agriculture,” he said.
The 2” trash pump has real application in livestock waste pump out and offers dairies, piggeries or chicken farmers the ability to pump up to 600 litres per minute of solids laden liquids.
The Aussie Pump range includes trash pumps that will handle up to 6,000 litres per minute (that is a whopping 360,000 litres per hour).
All Aussie trash pumps feature a handy front opening port that enables the pump to be cleaned without disconnecting pump work.
“That’s a real convenience,” said Tony Kelly. “And is a huge advantage over conventional old fashioned, long column sump pumps that have to be pulled out of the pit to be cleaned out,” he said.
In big pressure cleaners, contractor style machines that offer pressures in the 4,000 and 5,000psi range will be on offer to farmers for the first time.
These big machines all feature slow speed Big Berty Bertolini pumps, gearbox drive and Honda air cooled industrial petrol engines.
The machines come standard with an Aussie ASP (Aussie Safety Protection) kit. The safety protection kit includes a thermal dump to protect the machine from excessive bypass operation, and a safety valve.
The safety valve will relieve if the machine encounters a pressure spike, protecting both the blaster and the operator.
Full galvanised, heavy duty wrap around roll frames are standard along with big 13” pneumatic tyres with steel wheels.
“These big machines will take any amount of hard work and are ideal for harvest or earthmoving contractors, feedlots, piggeries or any other applications that require a heavy duty clean,” said Tony Kelly.
These products will all be available through authorised Aussie Pumps distributors or on display at a wide range of agricultural field days, country shows and exhibitions.
