A new version of Australian Pump Industries ’ heavy duty 5,000 psi hydroblaster is now available. The new model is powered by Briggs and Stratton’s Vanguard “Big Block” 27 HP industrial engine. The Vanguard twin cylinder electric start “Big Block” engine has a huge 889 c.c. engine capacity.

The Aussie Predator 5,000 psi industrial hydroblaster is a purpose built machine. It is suitable for heavy duty cleaning tasks in mining, construction, and industrial sectors. It uses a “Big Berty” Bertolini HD Series triplex pump, a heavy duty model.

The pump weighs in at 20.4kgs, and is a heavy duty triplex design. It features brass head with bolt down style valve caps, and is built for sustained performance in the toughest industrial cleaning tasks.

The Vanguard Big Block engine means the heavy duty Aussie Predator achieves full power at lower rpm, adding substantially to engine longevity. The engine also comes with a Donaclone Cyclopac air cleaner, a real advantage in Australia’s hot, dusty operating conditions.

“Noise levels are lower too, and the harmonics of the engine work better with our style of machine,” says Hamish Lorenz.

The Aussie Predator hydroblaster comes in a heavy duty galvanised frame with long range 18 litre fuel tank, and is equipped with the unique “Aussie Safety Pack” to protect both the machine and the operator.

An extra long 60 metre length hose with 5,000 psi rated hose reel is available as an optional extra.

The big Aussie Predator hydroblaster really comes into it’s own with the Vanguard Big Block power, making it ideal for professional applications like brick cleaning, steel work descaling, formwork stripping, even ship anti-fouling and a host of other heavy duty pressure cleaning jobs.
