The Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association
(APPMA) welcomed SICK and Packweigh Equipment recently as new member companies to the association.
SICK is a leading manufacturer of factory and process automation technology worldwide with a diverse product line enabling the company to offer solutions at every phase of the production process. SICK’s sensor solutions cover packaging, electronics, food and beverage, consumer goods, logistics, parcel/postal and material handling industries among others with their process control systems used to measure and/or analyse gas, dust and flow.
Packweigh Equipment specialises in the design, manufacture and supply of bag filling, weighing, closing and palletising equipment. Supplying a range of handheld bag sewing machines, heat sealing machines and form, fill and seal machines through to fully automatic bagging systems, Packweigh Equipment also offers all types of bagging scales to suit a vast range of products.
Established in 1983, APPMA represents Australia’s packaging and processing machinery industry and organises AUSPACK PLUS, a major biennial packaging and processing machinery and materials exhibition in Australia.
APPMA members include manufacturers and importers of packaging and processing machinery and materials who are suppliers to the food, beverage, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, veterinary and household packaging industries.
