The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) have announced that the booking form for 2009 National Technical Forums programme is now available.
The 2009 National Technical Forums programme has the theme ‘Packaging MEGA Trends’ and the event to be held alongside AUSPACK will be attended by international speakers from United Kingdom, Italy and the United States. Topics that will be discussed during the 2009 National Technical Forums programme include:
- Openability and design for the ageing population
- In-store merchandising
- Sustainable design
- Terminal shelf velocity
- Biodegradable shopping bags and water bottles
- Corrugated packaging
- Aluminium beverage packaging
- The strategic direction of private labels
- Nanotechnology
- The lifecycle management of a brand
The programme will also see a panel discussion on Bioplastics with representatives from NatureWorks, Plastral, Plantic, BioPak, Innovia Films and the Australasian Bioplastics Association.
