The joint AIP/SCLAA annual charity golf day, which was held at North Lakes Golf Course in Queensland, saw $11,000 raised for Spectrum Employment and Starlight Foundation and a fully booked course of 144 budding golfers.
Coming from both the packaging industry and the Supply Chain & Logistics industry the day was full of fun, networking and of course a good round of golf.
The overall winners for the day were Spectrum Employment, with Amcor Team 1 coming in second. Trades & Labour Hire were awarded low total score, Tectura Packaging won the Bradman award and Siemens Team 3 won the high total score for the day.
Near to the Pin was awarded to Donita McMurray, Andrew Oates and Peter Short. Long Drive was taken out by Tim Anderson from Brendale Windows and the Straight Drive was awarded to Don Raniga from Majans.
Both the AIP and the SCLAA would like to extend their gratitude to the following sponsors as without them the industry would not have been able to donate $11,000 to two charities on the day.
Tectura Packaging as the platinum sponsor, Imaje, insignia, Amcor, Brendale Windows, Siemens, Visy, Chep, Fibre King, Fastcards and Trades & Labour Hire.
