The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) has announced the second intake for the 2009 Certificate in Packaging course is now open for enrolments.

The Certificate in Packaging is designed to meet the training needs of a range of people who are involved in packaging, including new entrants to the industry who are seeking the best possible preparation for a career in the industry and design, production, management, sales and marketing or purchasing staff who need to further their understanding of this complex discipline.

The Certificate in Packaging provides a level of insight and understanding of the packaging industry that adds real and measurable value to careers and businesses. Packaging is a fundamental part of modern business, and the Certificate in Packaging will provide attendees with the ‘detailed overview’ of packaging processes that broadens knowledge and adds value to business.

Delegates to the Certificate in Packaging come to the training course from a variety of areas. Individuals may already be established in packaging as a buyer, marketer, production manager or sales person, now looking to expand their knowledge and deepen their understanding of the packaging environment. Individuals may be embarking on a career within the industry and looking for the training that will provide them with a solid bed of information that they can build on.
