The Australian Institute of Packaging’s (AIP) national packaging conference will be held at Conrad Jupiters on the Gold Coast, Queensland on June 15-16 featuring the theme ‘Packaging ... the critical link’.
Following a number of topical seminars over the past few years, the AIP will approach the 2006 national conference with the aim of delivering a holistic program about the latest packaging technology issues in the delivery of products to consumers.
The conference will advance discussions in core packaging values: protection, presence and security in a dramatically changing product supply chain.
It will present the key marketing, environmental and technological issues around packaging through a comprehensive program that outlines developments across industry, and the external factors affecting the packaging industry.
The conference will feature a number of breakout sessions and streams after the opening and keynote presentations. Areas to highlight the critical link packaging plays in the delivery of products to consumers include synergistic food and packaging development, the critical role of packaging in a dynamic supply chain, and environmental strategies for packaging for the future.
