Australian Institute of Packaging  provides educational and technical training for individuals within the packaging industry throughout Australia. Registrations are now open for the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) 2010 National Conference, which will be held at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Victoria on the 16th & 17th of June. The biennial event will be themed Back to the Future: The Art & Science of Packaging and is the well-known educational conference of its kind in the industry.

With 8 international speakers and 36 in total over the two days, the 2010 National Conference is designed for both personal and professional development and provides tremendous networking opportunities. The AIP National Conference is open to both Members and non members and is suited for the food, beverage, manufacturing and packaging industries. 

Keynote speakers include Liz Hulbert, Head of Replenishment, Tesco UK, Jonathan Reeve, Operations Development Manager, Coles, Nigel Garrard, President, Amcor Australasia, Dr Mike Okoroafor, Vice President, Packaging R&D, HJ Heinz Co, USA, Keith Chessell FAIP, Packaging Technical Specialist, Cadbury and Rod Evenden, General Manager Private Labels, Woolworths Limited. 

International Speakers are Dr Angelo Yializis, Chief Executive Officer, Sigma Technologies International, USA, Dr Bradley Fain, Head of Human Systems Engineering, Georgia Tech Research Institute, USA, James Tupper, ECR Learning & Change Manager, IGD UK, a speaker from Euromonitor International in Singapore and Brad Reddersen, Chief of Technology, SIRA Technologies, USA.

The conference will have a number of key exhibition stands allowing delegates the opportunity to meet with packaging suppliers and find out what new products and innovations are available in Australia.
