The weigh hoppers, available from Australian Filling & Packaging Machines , are used to automatically fill a moist clumping product to a preset weight.
The product then goes into a hopper which can then be opened and dropped into a bag. Products to be filled that are moist and clumped, therefore, not allowing normal filling methods.
Weigh hoppers are fitted to allow a more accurate fill while the operator can perform other tasks. When a pre-set weight is reached the weigh hopper machine stops to allow the operator to release the hopper content and then will automatically re-start and fill to the preset weight.
The weigh hoppers are capable of filling up to 5kg bags, with special features including the following:
