The products characteristics eliminated traditional filling methods and required a multi-stage process to eliminate existing manual intensive operations.
Production quantities and raw material supply dictated that a compact single station rotary multi stage filling system was required. The filling system automatically indexes 6 jars at a time through a process of:
- Coarse fill
- Vibrate
- Compact
- Fill to final weight
- Index to outfeed conveyor
The rotary multi stage filling machine is designed for one person operation. The operator loads empty containers on the in-feed conveyor and unloads filled containers from the out-feed conveyor ready for packing. The system can be preset for jar sizes & weights from 250gm to 5kg, and fill rates up to 10/min.
