AUSTRALIAN Filling & Packaging Machines has introduced a new ‘tailored service program’ to guard against costly machine breakdowns and downtime.
Company spokesperson Paul Herbison said the program was being offered to all users of AFPM, Asset and Masterfill filling machines.
“The major benefit comes from the fact that each program is tailored to an operator’s specific requirements.
“This provides a cost-effective solution in terms of regular maintenance -- a key factor in terms of guarding equipment against breakdowns and costly downtime."
AFPM will carry out an onsite service on any of its filling machines on a regular call cycle at any site in Victoria. The call cycle will be nominated by each customer in order to meet productivity needs.
Under the new program, required parts will normally be supplied during the scheduled service. AFPM customers will be given a fixed parts price list at the beginning of each contract and will be able to change the call cycle as required on either a 2, 3, 4 or 6-month basis.
