CleanScene: The National Cleaning & Hygiene Expo has already sold all of the floor space available in Stage One. The exhibition will be held at the Sydney Showground from 27 to 29 October 2009.
Cleaning is certainly a hot topic at the moment with reality tv shows such as ‘How Clean is your House’ and ‘Kitchen Nightmares’, which invariably touches on the cleanliness of commercial kitchens, reaching huge audiences.
Last week the South Australian Government joined the Tasmanian State Government in adopting the ‘Clean Start’ principles, following the Federal Government’s implementation earlier this month. This interest in cleaning seems to have translated into strong sales for CleanScene.
Gerry Goldberg, President of National Cleaning Suppliers Association (NCSA) is pleased with the progress of the show so far “It’s good to see so many members get behind a new show” he said. “It proves that our belief in the synergy between Safety and Cleaning is justified” Goldberg explained.
Marie Kinsella, Managing Director of exhibition organisers Australian Exhibitions & Conferences , was surprised at the variety of exhibitors enquiring about space at CleanScene. They range from cloth manufacturers to ultraviolet energy suppliers, from basic cleaning products to clever technological adaptations. “We’ve had enquiries from Perth to New Zealand, Tasmania, even China and Malaysia” Kinsella stated, “which means that visitors to the show will meet a wide range of exhibitors and, with such diversity, are guaranteed to find some great new products and suppliers at the exhibition”.
