CleanScene: The National Cleaning & Hygiene Expo being held between 5 April and 7 April in Melbourne will also feature a seminar programme by the National Cleaning Suppliers Association (NCSA).
The CleanScene exhibition will have participation by companies at the forefront of the cleaning industry.
The seminar series organised by the NCSA will have nine 1-hour seminars covering a variety of topical and incisive subjects including sustainable cleaning, fair work laws, slips, trips and falls, measuring cleaning standards and indoor air quality.
All seminars are free but bookings will be essential.
Gerry Goldberg, National President of the NCSA sees the seminar series as an important vehicle for the association.
He explains that the seminars will help further knowledge and training within the industry, and as a feature area within CleanScene, NCSA members will also be able to access a high number of users of cleaning products and supplies from diverse industries.
The seminar programme will be relevant to facility managers, building managers and operations managers among others from healthcare, manufacturing, hospitality, government and even retail segments.
Seminar highlights include:
Sustainable Cleaning – to create healthy high performance buildings
Diversey’s presentation on the use of sustainable resources in the maintenance of buildings is especially useful for facility managers.
Understanding Fair Work Laws
Holding Redlich’s seminar covers the complicated area of employment law, which is always changing and constantly open to different interpretations.
The Impact of Cleaning Products on Indoor Air Quality
CETEC’s presentation covers the health and safety of workers, specifically the impact of cleaning agents on the air quality within a building and in turn, its effects on workers.
The seminar will be of relevance to the majority of attendees at the co-located Safety In Action show.
