A newly patented trolley handle from German manufacturer, Expresso, extends or shrinks to suit the heights of different users or to negotiate steps with ease.
The adaptable CLICK4 trolley handle design is the latest addition to Expresso's modular aluminium hand truck range and will be on show at Melbourne Materials Handling.
By pressing two safety rockers to release four snap catches clamping the handle in place, users can adjust the geometry of the handle instantly. A perforated strip with fixed setting positions in 10-degree increments allows favourite heights to be found again easily.
Australian supplier, Garry Raffelt of Lite Trucks, says the CLICK4 trolley handle offers controlled, flexible manual handling without compromising ergonomics and risking the strain-related injuries that cause half of Australia's workers compensation claims.
"Whether large or small, anyone can shift heavy loads in their optimum body postures using the Expresso CLICK4 hand truck," he says. "The same hand truck can be shared by a whole workforce and still be safe and efficient for each person."
Visitors to Expresso's stand K50 during Melbourne Materials Handling can try the Expresso CLICK4 trolley handle for size, when it runs concurrently with Safety In Action from April 20 to 22 at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
Melbourne Materials Handling is organised by Australian Exhibitions & Conferences . It runs from 20 – 22 April at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
