Australian Dust Control dust extraction systems can maximise energy efficiency and reduce energy costs. Ubeeco have commissioned Australian Dust Control to design, manufacture and install a reverse flow dust extractor. Ubeeco have relocated from Smithfield to Erskine Park NSW.
Ubeeco needed to update from their existing cyclone and individual mobile dust collectors to the new technology in dust extraction. Australian Dust Control worked with Ubeeco to design a system that was energy efficient and environmentally friendly. It consisted of a reverse flow dust extractor incorporating an industrial shredder for the waste material.
The ASF4 reverse flow dust extractor has a modular design allowing for further modules to be added at a later date if required. The ASF4 reverse flow dust extractor was fitted with a 75kw fan and a sound enclosure. The waste material is dust and feeds through a blower system into a 25 cubic metre storage silo which is fitted with pneumatic clamshells. This waste is then recycled. To complete this extraction system, a 37kw industrial shredder was incorporated into the design with a capacity of 500kg per hour. Pine off cuts which are 100 to 200mm in length are fed into the shredder. This shredded waste is then discharged through an extraction fan and into a second 25 cubic metre storage silo fitted with pneumatic clamshells. This waste is also taken away for recycling. The ASF4 reverse flow dust extractor has an environmentally and energy efficient design.
