Australian Dust Control  is the exclusive Australian agent for Gross Briquette Presses and Industrial Shredders. These briquette presses and industrial shredders have been specially designed and manufactured using the latest European technology.

Briquette presses are simple and compact and do not require much maintenance. The energy efficient design of the briquette press is able to maintain a constant briquette size regardless of variations in the material size.

A Reverse Flow Chain Filter Dust Collector [ASF9] was previously installed for Trademaster when they expanded and relocated their manufacturing operation a couple of years ago.

Now with escalating waste disposal costs, Trademaster once again commissioned Australian Dust Control to retrofit a tandem Gross GP100 briquette press to help reduce the volume of waste material.

Tandem briquette presses discharge the waste by way of a rotary valve from the dust collector to the hopper and then compress the waste into briquettes at a ratio of 6-1. The briquettes are then discharged by 2 x 90mm diameter transport pipes directly into a 3 cubic meter skip bin with liner.

The original design of the reverse flow chain filter allowed the Gross briquette press to be retrofitted at a later date. Trademaster now have a state of the art complete dust collector system including a briquette press, which will reduce their waste disposal costs dramatically.

By installing and retrofitting briquette presses and industrial shredders, Australian Dust Control is helping manufacturers reduce their waste disposal costs.

Briquette presses are also suitable for use in the timber and paper industry and can be adapted numerous other industries.
