Australian Dust Control Pty Ltd recently installed Australia’s newest reverse flow dust extraction filter unit, the ASF2 DAK, at Ashmore Joinery on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

The first dust extraction system of its kind in Australia, the custom built machine utilises the finest in European technology with its filter unit holding the highest rating on the European safety standard, ATEX and the new explosion vents marking an unrivalled dust extraction design.

Director and co-owner of Ashmore Joinery, Lewis Gray described the filter unit as ‘the best dust collector he has ever purchased’ and is delighted with its trouble-free performance. Along with the new filter unit ADC installed a complete turnkey system in the new Gold Coast factory, including a 55kW fan coupled with a variable speed drive to control suction levels and optimise power usage.

On the installation, Lewis praises ADC’s efficient, reliable service saying that ADC set up the new dust extraction system within a week in preparation of their factory relocation.

Australian Dust Control will be showcasing their dust extraction solutions at the Gabbett Machinery Stand 4205, AWISA 2014.
