Australian Dust Control Pty Ltd installed a new shaker filter extraction system in the new woodworking room at the Mackillop Catholic College.
The college required a new dust extraction system for their newly built woodworking room, which was equipped with a band saw, radial arm saw, sanders and panel saw.
ADC designed and installed an S20 shaker filter extraction system complete with a 5.5kw fan, switchboard and all connecting ductwork. A sound enclosure over the filter assembly was incorporated into the design additionally to minimise noise to the surrounding buildings.
A cost effective solution with energy efficiency and low maintenance benefits, ADC’s shaker filter dust extraction systems can also be fitted with a variable speed drive resulting in ongoing energy cost savings.
Australian Dust Control employs the latest technology available in dust and fume extraction for high schools, TAFE colleges, universities and various learning institutions with the primary objective being to provide a superior quality solution that is not only energy efficient but also cost effective.
Many high schools and colleges are now commissioning ADC from the early planning and design stages of new building workshop facilities to ensure a high quality solution in dust and fume extraction is installed for the health and safety of all students and teachers.
All ADC dust and fume extraction systems are compliant with Australian Standards and OHSE guidelines.
