Australian Dust Control Pty Ltd  installed a reverse flow dust extraction system at Capital Veneering, a joinery company specialising in commercial and residential projects and custom made furniture.
 
Australian Dust Control specialises in the design of complete dust extraction systems for joinery and furniture manufacturers Australia wide, and is now a licensee eligible to use the Australian Made logo.
 
Following the expansion of their manufacturing operation with the addition of a new CNC machine, Capital Veneering commissioned Australian Dust Control to design and install a new dust extraction system that would replace their old mobile dust extraction units.
 
Australian Dust Control installed an ASF3 reverse flow extraction system with a 45kw fan, a briquette press including cooling system, and a single shaft shredder. ADC also supplied all new main ducting, a 1500mm rotary valve, switchboard and blast gates.
 
The completely modular reverse flow filter system future-proofs the customer for any further expansion when more machines are added. The ASF3 reverse flow dust extraction system installed at Capital Veneering has an airflow capacity of 30,000m³/hr and is adequate for extracting dust from the CNC machine, panel saw, wide belt sander, and edgebander, and an additional panel saw if installed.
 
A sound enclosure fitted around the fan minimises noise to the surrounding areas. A variable speed drive included in the design maximises the energy efficiency of the system by pre-setting suction levels, resulting in significant and ongoing savings for the customer.

All ADC systems are compliant with OHSE regulations and Australian Standards, and offer innovative, flexible and energy efficient design solutions at competitive prices. The reverse flow extraction system uses the latest technology and has the flexibility to be adapted across many other industries.
