Australian Dust Control have a range of dust collector systems tailored to suit the individual needs of each customer. Trademaster recently commissioned Australian Dust Control to design and install a reverse flow chain filter dust collector. Trademaster were expanding their operation and relocating their manufacturing from Guilford to South Granville in NSW.
Australian Dust Control worked with customers to design and install a reverse flow chain filter dust collector [ AKF9] which is a modular system allowing for additional modules to be added in the event of further expansion in the future.
The manufacturing process produces dust from flat panels of MDF and chipboard. This waste discharges from the reverse flow chain filter dust collector into a 3 cubic metre waste bin. The reverse flow chain filter dust collector was fitted with a 75kw fan with sound enclosure to ensure quiet operation.
A variable speed drive was also incorporated into the design ensuring energy efficient operation resulting in savings on energy bills. This type of reverse flow chain filter dust collector is designed so that a Briquette press and shredder can fitted as an added option at any time.
