Australian Dust Control Pty Ltd  has installed two shaker dust extraction systems now certified with the Australian Made logo at a Catholic High School in Maitland.
ADC was commissioned by All Saints St Mary’s High School to design, supply and install two new shaker filter systems for their new woodworking workshops. The shaker dust extraction systems consist of filters connected to 14 woodworking machines by main ducting and also include two floor sweeps. The waste discharges from the filter directly into two 100L drums for easy disposal.
The shaker filters are located inside the building and sound enclosures have been fitted to each of the 5.5kw fans to minimise noise to the surrounding buildings and classrooms.
The Australian Made shaker dust extraction systems from ADC offer an energy-efficient, cost-effective and low maintenance solution for the school’s woodworking rooms.
A specialist provider of dust and fume extraction systems for all schools, TAFE colleges, Trade Training Centres, universities and other learning institutions, Australian Dust Control is now a licensee eligible to use the Australian Made logo for a wide range of systems including the shaker filter system.

ADC has the expertise to assist from the initial planning stage of any new project through to the complete design, installation and commissioning of all new dust and fume extraction systems. All systems are compliant with Australian Standards and OHS guidelines.
