Australian Dust Control Pty Ltd has designed and installed a complete dust and fume extraction system at the St Peters School in Maitland. The school required the system for their new metal and woodworking classrooms.
ADC designed and installed a new dust extraction system for the woodworking room incorporating an S30 shaker dust collector with a 7.5kW fan featuring a sound enclosure as an added option to minimise noise to the surrounding classrooms.
ADC also designed and installed the complete ductwork for all eight woodworking machines including blast gates. The timber dust is extracted directly from the dust collector into two 200L drums.
The fume extraction system designed for the welding area of the metal working classroom included eight 150mm diameter articulated arms and a 7.5kW high efficiency fan. A suction bench suitable for metal grinding and sanding was also installed.
An ADC variable speed drive that presets suction levels maximises energy efficiency and ensures significant and ongoing power savings.
Australian Dust Control specialises in providing flexible, economical, low maintenance and energy-efficient dust and fume extraction solutions based on the latest technology for high schools and various learning institutions, ensuring a much cleaner and safer working environment for all students and teachers.
ADC’s shaker dust collector and fume extraction systems are compliant with OHSE regulations and Australian Standards.
Australian Dust Control is a certified Australian Made licensee eligible to use the Australian Made logo for their range of products including the shaker dust collectors.
