Drinks with American president

SUSAN Neely the recently appointed President and CEO of the American Beverage Association will be addressing the plenary session of AusDrinks2006 at the Hyatt Regency Coolum on April 30 to 2 May.

Neely was recently appointed to one of the United States’ leading industry groups as a response to the challenge facing the industry due to the growing community concerns about obesity and the many knee-jerk regulatory responses that this has generated.

Other confirmed speakers include Cadbury’s MD Mark Smith, and leading international researchers Robert Kay-Shuttleworth (Canadean) and Stuart Benham (Zenith International) both based in London.

AusDrinks2006 features an almost sold-out exhibition of goods and services suppliers to the beverages sector as well as specialist technical and marketing seminars.

The conference and exhibition is in one of Australia’s premier resort areas in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, featuring the PGA’s own golf course and private surf beach.

This is the second joint conference and exhibition of the Australian Beverages Council and the Australasian Bottled Water Institute .

The last AusDrinks conference held in Leura NSW attracted over 200 delegates from all Australian states, New Zealand and Fiji.
