Austdac to display conveyor and longwall systems at AIMEX 2007

Austdac,  which specialises in safety, communications, monitoring and control equipment for the mining and industrial sectors, will display its conveyor and longwall systems on Stand 1720 during AIMEX 2007 – Asia Pacific’s International Mining Exhibition, to be held at Sydney’s Olympic Park from September 4 to 7, 2007.

Austdac’s display will include intelligent BMAs with LCD screens, a variety of combined pull-switch and conveyor stations, standalone pull-switches and lockout and tail-end units.

Also on display will be its AS61508 SIL3-accredited conveyor systems, which can monitor and control up to 128 discrete points either digital and/or analogue, allowing inputs from field devices such as bearing temperatures and vibration monitoring.

As well as its conveyor control systems, Austdac will show a variety of gas detection and monitoring equipment, plus a range of lighting products, including underground Victor lighting, IS roadside flashers and LED cap lamps.
